QA Report: Verify workspace.yaml fix - 4 code locations should load
Target Tested
- Repository
- jetta-data-orch
Summary
Unable to verify workspace.yaml fix due to SSO authentication being disabled. Cannot proceed with testing without violating security policies that prohibit entering passwords directly.
Steps Performed
1. Navigated to https://dagster.data.jettaintelligence.com/dagster 2. Automatically redirected to login.jettaintelligence.com SSO page 3. Observed "Continue with Google" and "Continue with Microsoft 365" SSO buttons 4. Noticed banner message: "Currently disabled by AI admins of AIC Holdings" 5. Clicked "Continue with Google" button - button appears disabled/grayed out 6. SSO options are non-functional, only password-based login available 7. Unable to proceed with Steps 3-5 of test plan (Access Dagster UI, Verify Code Locations, Check Assets) due to authentication blocker
Detailed Findings
**Authentication Blocker:** The Jetta Intelligence SSO login page (login.jettaintelligence.com) shows a banner stating "Currently disabled by AI admins of AIC Holdings" above the Google and Microsoft 365 SSO buttons. When clicking the Google SSO button, it does not initiate authentication - the button appears grayed out and non-functional. **Security Policy Constraint:** As an AI agent, I am prohibited from entering passwords directly into login forms for security reasons. This policy prevents me from using the password-based fallback login method to access the Dagster UI. **Impact:** Cannot verify whether the workspace.yaml fix (commit 8acb368) successfully loads the 4 expected code locations (sable, meridian, market_data, jetta_data_orch_legacy) because authentication is required to access the Dagster UI at https://dagster.data.jettaintelligence.com/dagster. **Note:** This appears to be a separate issue from the original Dagster deployment problem. The SSO functionality was working in previous tests on Artemis platform, suggesting this may be a temporary administrative change or environment-specific configuration.
Issues Found
- Issue 1: SSO Authentication disabled on login.jettaintelligence.com - Banner message indicates "Currently disabled by AI admins of AIC Holdings", blocking Google and Microsoft 365 SSO options - Issue 2: No alternative authentication method available for AI agents - Password-based login requires manual entry which violates security policies for automated testing
Recommendations
**Immediate Actions:** 1. Re-enable SSO authentication on login.jettaintelligence.com for Dagster access or provide API key/token-based authentication for automated testing 2. If SSO was intentionally disabled, document the change and update QA test procedures accordingly 3. Consider implementing a test/staging authentication endpoint that allows automated QA agents to authenticate without using production SSO **Alternative Verification Methods:** 4. Provide API endpoint to query Dagster code location status programmatically (e.g., GET /api/code-locations) 5. Add health check endpoint that includes code location count and status 6. Consider creating a dedicated QA/test user with API token authentication for automated testing scenarios **Documentation:** 7. Update QA test requirements to specify when SSO vs. API authentication should be used 8. Document the process for handling authentication-blocked test scenarios
